Ron Smith
Ron Smith has practiced law in VA since 1983. He has tried thousands of cases in the past 40 years, and is known as one of the premier criminal defense attorneys on the peninsula. Ron was born and raised in Hampton Roads. He is the former President of The Hampton Bar Association and a partner in the firm of Maust & Smith before starting his own firm. He has been mentor to dozens of criminal defense attorneys in the Commonwealth, and is a talented litigator for crimes of all kinds.

Nick Hobbs
Nick Hobbs is a former prosecutor for the city of Newport News and a lifelong resident of Hampton. He graduated from Bethel High School, attended Virginia Tech and ODU, and has a law degree from Regent School of Law. Nick has litigated countless bench and jury trials in criminal and traffic Court, and enjoys holding the Commonwealth to the highest level of against individuals charged with a criminal offense. In addition to his state criminal and traffic law background, Nick also practices extensively in the United States District Court for the 4th Circuit and is an experienced federal criminal defense attorney. Nick is a well-respected member of the community, serves as a substitute judge across the region, and clients rely on him for excellent results on their cases at all levels.

Emily Munn
Emily Munn grew up in North Carolina, attended Wake Forest University for undergraduate and law school, and has been practicing law in the Commonwealth since 2001. She has raised her family in Hampton Roads, while dedicating her spare time as president of the Norfolk CASA board of directors for more than 10 years. She also serves on the Federal Bar Assocation board of directors, and has been recognized as a Top 40 Under 40, a member of the Legal Elite, and a Woman of Distinction in the Virginia State Bar. Emily has dedicated her legal career to serving citizens charged with crimes in both state and federal courts, from minor misdemeanors to the most serious felonies. She also handles child custody, divorce, and child support cases. Judges and clients rely on Emily to try cases in all courts with knowledge, zeal, and the highest level of expertise.

Davina Seoparsan
Davina Seoparsan attended the University of Virginia for undergraduate where she studied Political Science and Business. Davina attended the University of Richmond Law School and has been practicing in the Commonwealth since 2021.Davina has a rare combination of experience with both sides of the law. She first started her career as a Public Defender and then switched gears working as a prosecutor in the Hampton Commonwealth Attorney’s Office for a number of years. Her role as a prosecutor allowed her to gain firsthand insight into the criminal justice system—insight that now informs her work as a defense attorney.
Davina is dedicated to serving individuals charged with crimes in both state and federal courts and can represent someone charged with anything from a traffic case to a serious felony. In addition to criminal cases, Davina can assist you with a number of things including criminal defense, child custody, divorce and separations and Virginia State Bar disciplinary actions.
